Tea, the most widely consumed beverage in the world after water, is scientifically proved to support good health and is one of the richest sources of antioxidants (flavanoids). Green tea in particular is rich in simple flavanoids called catechins. Current research into the benefits of drinking tea indicates that the antioxidants in tea attack free radicals and support the growth of healthy cells. My green teas have proved to be outstandingly popular as they are colourful, fragrant and elegantly, but simply presented. Tea lovers are able to smell the wonderful aromas of my range before they buy. But more importantly, whilst the aromas and colours are fabulous, my teas are also very healthy being low in caffeine and high in antioxidants, said Jo, who promotes the health benefits of tea drinking, especially for the Queensland climate, where fluid intake is crucial.
