Q. Is my credit card information secure? |
|
|
Yes, all credit card information is securely encrypted and transferred through our SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Secure Server, directly to our order department. No unauthorised parties can see any of the information that you transmit. Credit card numbers are stored separately from your name and expiration date and are erased once your order has been processed.

OzeVillageTM Security
OzeVillage assures you, our customer, that we will do everything technically and ethically possible to protect the security of credit information provided to OzeVillage.
As you complete your order, you'll be asked for your name, address, and credit card number. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to send your credit card number from your computer to our computer. SSL sends your details in an encrypted code, which only we can decode online.
Experts point out that an on-line transaction without humans is far safer because the information is immediately encoded into a 40 bit encrypted block that can only be read by the 2 computers participating in the order (our server and your personal computer). If you think about it, do you see your credit card all the time while the waiter charges your credit card in a restaurant?
After you confirm your order, your credit card information is stored in a highly encrypted format on our server. When your merchandise is ready to be shipped, your credit card will be charged and then your credit card details are discarded.
We do not keep any record of your credit card details after your order has been dispatched. While we can keep track of your name and address from one order to the next, you will have to provide your credit card number each time you order.
Does it work on my Web browser?
Our transaction system currently works only with Web browsers that can use SSL - such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator and the America Online browser. |
